Lifetime Chicago residents, the Hinchey Family migrated to Hilton Head Island in 1995. Owners Mike Hinchey, a graduate of the University of Illinois, Beth Hinchey Phalen, also a graduate of the Univeristy of Illinois and their father Bob, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, have successfully developed a family restaurant with the feel of Chicago. In addition to Mike, Beth & Bob - Cathy and Katie (all part of the Hinchey clan) can be found in the kitchen, serving in the dining room or behind the bar. You can even spot the newest generation of Hinchey family members, Molly, Hannah, Collin, Sean, Makayla and Madeline stopping by to check in on their grand parents, mom, dad, aunts & uncles.
Our staff members have become part of our family over the last 15 years, making our locals and visitors feel like they are at their favorite place and even more so part of our family as well.
Many vacationers make Hinchey's their first stop on their return visits to Hilton Head Island and stop in several times while they're here.
